Shortcuts Don’t Exist
I. It’s simpler than you think
One thing that really hit me while trying Picasso’s daily routine was how simple the “secret combination” for productivity can really be.
This is not a shortcut, it’s just a “roadmap” of sorts that I boiled down into three ingredients:
A Mission
An Outlet
Energy
II. "We are not human beings having a spiritual experience; we are spiritual beings having a human experience."
A beautiful quote from Pierre Teilhard de Chardin that I sometimes return to every few months or so.
III. A question for you: “What is the content that I’ve consumed over the last year that has brought me the most value?”
IV. Shortcuts don’t exist
My preferred way to look at life is that it is simply an endless series of opportunities to experience the full range of what it means to be human.
Originally, I wanted to write something like: “be extremely wary of shortcuts" as taking shortcuts in life would be nothing more than depriving yourself of these experiences.
Then it occurred to me: this goes much deeper than that. If life is an endless series of opportunities to experience the full range of what it means to be human, then there are no such thing as shortcuts. Shortcuts don’t exist.

→ My Twitch livestreams are slowly evolving. I had a fantastic conversation with my friend Jo Franco recently. Check it out here.
→ The Italian language doesn’t make any sense.
