Are You Afraid of Change?

Hello! Before we dive into today’s newsletter, I wanted to let all of you know that I’ve released merch for a limited time. You’ll see photos of it throughout this email, and if you want to check it out: here it is.

It’s available for 3 more days (until Friday morning PST). It’s inspired by the idea of AMOR FATI – a love of one’s fate. Enthusiastically embracing all that life throws at you.

This newsletter is dedicated to two simple ideas: change & freedom.

I find myself chasing control rather often and then remembering it’s futile – life is gonna happen anyway. It’s nice to have reminders, though. Things that help us not forget the inevitability of change.

Below are 4 pieces of inspiration/ideas connected to the topic of change.

I. How to Be Happy After You Fail this is a lovely article with many wonderful reminders on how to frame failure. You can’t always win, and a big part of life in our changing world is… well, stumbling.

II. Perhaps you’ve seen this vlog from 1989? This whole channel is insane. How cool to see the world in this way. I’m glad that guy chose to capture those moments and share them.

Guess what? The videographer actually passed away that year. That’s weird to think about.

The world has changed so much since then. I was in denial for a long time over the fact that life seems to accelerate as you get older, but it’s getting really obvious at this point.

Fortunately, there is something you can do about it:

III. Here’s why time is moving so quickly - and what you can do about it. – a few unconventional answers to an age-old question.

IV. Let Your Relationships Become A Vehicle For Freedom - An extraordinary lecture on a topic I find quite interesting.
